NEW LEADER WITH VAGUE, UNATTAINABLE IDEAS
Statement of Intent:
Piggy-backing off of what previous senators have accomplished, I plan to bring a more nuanced epistemological viewpoint to Middlebury. This campus is dichotomized -- not to put words in the mouths of other students, but I will say that we can all agree that we need a paradigm shift. Using a comparative framework, I will devise an empirically-based, comprehensive inquiry of the current campus climate. Juxtaposed next to other candidates, I may not seem like much, but I vow to avoid the pervasive hegemonic discourse that floods this campus. Only together can we transform Middlebury. But I am the only one who has the interdisciplinary knowhow to build a postmodern Middlebury.

I'm your insider who knows the ins and outs of Middlebury's channels of bureaucracy. I've received countless emails from President Patton, the most recent of which extended best wishes for spring break. One time I walked past Dean of the College Katy Smith-Abbott and she smized at me.
